We went to Romney, WV to take a train trip through the hills of Northern West Virginia to enjoy the foliage and learn some of the history of the area.
Our conductor - right out of Norman Rockwell!
One of many picturesque barns along the route.
Real beauties!
The Eagle Express winding its way along Eagle Rock.
"The Trough". Note the train on the left.
A look back at "The Trough".
It was quite a trip, because the other reason for the trip is to look for the eagles that frequent the area.
.
A juvenile Bald Eagle.
My "catch of the day"!

I'll have more later! Enjoy! ~ DaveKay
Looks like it was a wonderful and fulfilling trip. And while you didn't get to see a Panda, the Eagles and views would more then make up for it. Hope to see more of your trip in the coming weeks. Thanks for sharing these with all of us DaveKay
.
Looking forward to our next 'trip'
SAFE TRAVELS EVERYONE
