To satisfy your curiosity, the "not a log" was a humpback whale really close to the shore, and the tree is a baobab.
Here a a few more, no mysteries this time, and Rosie is one of the camp nyala where Rob works and is very friendly with people she is used to.

What did I say about the 'not a log', a hippo I think. Never even thought about a Whale. And I had no clue about the tree. And no one even tried to guess either one. All too busy watchin' Pete's I bet LOL. Thanks so much for sharing more of your memories Kebab.
